The immediate aftermath of a murder of someone you love will probably be the biggest crisis a person will have to face. It is scary and frightening beyond imagination. However, this type of crisis in many cases can be lessened when those left behind allow themselves to ask for help in their quest of understanding and answers.
The Sharing Our Strength (SOS) program is designed to meet/assist survivors (co-victims) of homicide with not only emotional needs, but with the judicial process, media intrusion, and being available to support you as you cope with your loss day to day.
Contact June Renfrow (601-584-0908) for more information. The Homicide Support Group meets monthly. Individual counseling can be scheduled by calling 601-264-7777.
